Richard, I know you are new to the interviewing process (as opposed to the footy show format) so I feel I need to make a small criticism of this podcast. Your set up questions are way to long and drawn out…if you were the guest they would be appropriate: as the host your questions could be 1/4 the length, setting up the guest for a lengthy response. We know that you know your shit (and props to you for your knowledge) but talk with James (he is an experienced master at interviewing) about ways to let the guest shine.

Chelsea didn’t deserve to win, Bayern just didn’t derseve to win even more.
Well stated! Chelsea’s had a lack of attack and abundance of luck. Bayern had plenty of opportunities, but hardly any quality.
Or maybe I’m looking at it wrong…. Maybe Chelsea’s defense played really well? 20 corners against!
Well, if di Matteo gets the gig and Drogba ends up going, I wonder if Ali Gerba’s agent will cook up a story linking his client to Chelsea (playing up the MK Dons connection)?

No hate intended to Richard, but Sharman and KJ are the only ones that should be leading a broadcast, and maybe punners.
Still a good 1st try though Richard, I know that Sharman and KJ have much more experience in broadcasting.
