LOL at all the Man u and City haters. First it was ” OMG HE’S WORLD CLASS, NEXT RONALDO, HE’ S FOR SURE GOING TO PLAY WITH (insert start player of team)” Now all I hear from them is ” Hazard sucks/is overrated/won’t do well in the epl/too small blablabla” The only thing I agree with is, he is quite the drama queen. This whole thing he’s done reminds me of LeDecision. Obviously, it’s not as bad, but still he got all this media hype for choosing a team, just like LBJ.
Although him signing for United would have been great, signing for Chelsea was probably the best move for him; he will probably play in his favored position (#10) and won’t face as much competition for the spot like he would at United or City. I always thought Mata looked better in the #10 role though and he looked less effective out wide.
Still, Hazard will most likely be a hit for Chelsea, which is a shame.

I just don’t understand why he has gone to Chelsea. I for one thought he was off to City for sure. The only thing Chelsea can offer him is money at this point. Sure they won the cl, but does anyone think they can come close to doing that well next season? Keep in mind, over 38 matches, they were the sixth best team in England. That is unlikely to change by much next season. Going to either United or City guarantees trophies. At City, he can get both the money and trophies. At Chelsea, he’ll just be playing in his favourite position all season long as Chelsea struggle to break into the top four.

We finished 6th due to many reason :
1)AVB
2)We competed in 3 competitions, winning 2 of them.
3) We could’ve went for 4th in the end, but obviously the players were more focused on the Champions League.
4)The whole dressing room controversy between avb and the old guard.
1) AVB was never the problem, he had you in roughly the same position as Ancelotti after the same amount of games. It was the players who were the problem, not wanting to play AVB’s style.
2) This point is completely invalid considering many other teams do this too i.e. Manchester United in 08-09 winning the Club World Cup, League Cup, and Premier League
3) Realistically, Chelsea were far off the pace from 4th by the time they got to the point where they actually had a legitimate shot at the champions league, which only really appeared after they had their amazing comeback against Napoli
4) Thus why they are clearing house this summer, so this does not happen again
Overall it’s not that Chelsea were any worse the previous years, it’s more of the fact that the bar had been raised this year for quality, competitiveness, and consistency by the likes of City, United, Tottenham, and Newcastle and Chelsea simply did not get the memo
