merci, mes amis. je crois aussi que l’italie a merite la victoire, mais on peux voir les nerves des les jouers.
Sorry KJ but you wrong again ma’ man.
france will prove an easier test for Spain. The english would prove harder.
The french:
Actually have skilled players that can play the game of football with thought, composure and intelligence. Hence, they will think they can go somewhat toe to toe with the Spanish instead of focusing on PROTECTING THEIR NON EXISTENT DEFENCE. If french go all out defence (which they don’t know how to do properly), it will bode Spain well. If they decide to do their usual, then it will bode spain better.
The english:
They kno they suck. They’re not kidding themselves. There are no illusions unlike the french. Terry and all the chelsea players have told the others of their stories against Barcelona. They’ll have to do the chelsea thing in order to have ANY CHANCE. And the players know it, so they’ll try super hard. See, when a team’s focused and agreed on doing something then it will turn out better. It will be more dangerous for Spain to break down 11 man english squad than 11 man french squad because the english know how it’s done ;)
Because the only other alternative is for english to try and go toe to toe against the Spaniards…and we all know how that’d turn out ;)
Average Spain > The best performance any other team on the planet could ever offer
Spot on analysis again KJ. I thoroughly enjoy listening to and reading your pre and post match analysis’ with your top football journalist/pundit guests. TSN and Sportsnet don’t have the resources nor the contacts you two have! And I have to say Richard Whittall’s match analysis’ as well as off the cuff articles are class acts. I especially enjoy his tactics/formations articles. I’m finally delving deeper into the formation game because of the two of you plus Michael Cox. No matter what, KJ and Sharms are hands down the top football commentators/pundits in Canada at the moment.
And yet again, Didier is running is mouth off….have fun in China!
