KJ’s right on the rest days. I was looking at that the other day and thinking how unfair it is. England and Italy are at a huge disadvantage to win the tournament. If their quarterfinal goes to extra time the winner has no chance to be 100% for the semi. Then the final is on 3 days rest as well.
Well it can also be said that the teams in Group C/D have extra time before the tournament to go over tactics and gain an understanding that the teams that play earlier do not. At the end of the day, everything is picked from a hat so no point in complaining.
