  1. How can everybody say England exit tournament with heads held high?!?!?

Outplayed in 3 of 4 matches, and absolutely dominated by Italy today. Good to hear Englishmen (KJ, Sharms) that have a proper head on their shoulders.

  2. Let me quickly diagnose the english mentality. America is bad at soccer, yet they feel superior, so they dis-attach themselves from the sport, saying they’re bad because they don’t care about it. Englishmen feel superior as well, so, they see the condition their team is in, and like their fellow cross-Atlantic counterparts, dis-attach themselves not from the sport, but from the national team. Hence, negative comments about their team surface all around to show to the outside world and convince themselves that their team is bad. God forbid they support their team through thick and thin, or else they’re going to end “humiliated” like the dutch and the irish, who supported their team and yet they failed to make any progress. England wanting to avoid the same fate, overly-criticize their team, so when they do actually fail, they point to the fact that they knew their teamw as going to fail, hence showing dis-attachment, hence their little brittle egos won’t get hurt.
