Pirlo, Ronaldo, Messi, Casillas – the list goes on. Mesut Özil deserves to be considered, though Germany’s poor semifinal performance will most likely prevent him from winning. Today’s stolen video reviews the attacking midfielder’s superb 2011/12 season – Euro 2012 not included.
Also learnt today: the prize for being a prime example of successful integration into German society is known as the ‘Bambi’ award – Özil won it in 2010. He doesn’t need your trophy Sepp.
