Unsurprisingly, I’m not a big Ashley Cole fan. The Chelsea left back – most recently featuring in the news as John Terry’s star witness – joined twitter today. 17 tweets in, Cole has easily propelled himself into the upper echelon of internet trolldom.
About six too many “haha’s” but we get the point. The extremely short shorts add insult to injury.

You know he’s got a point. I’m sure Cole has received plenty of nasty messages from scorned Arsenal supporters. With that said I’d like to direct a personal message of my own to the man we call Ca$hley – how’s Cheryl?

Small minds give small mind retorts. Its ok to slag him off but its not ok for him to brag about what he has won since joining Chelsea. You can put all Arsenal players into the mercenary bracket as over the last few years they have all shown desire to leave to go to a club where they have the chance to win. I don’t like Cashley, but his tweets were pretty funny. But they don’t even come close to the responses from Arsenal fans butt hurt over it. You guys got to be the most insecure bunch of fans around….I see it on forums, and I see it here too. Blame the Arsenal board, not the players. If a rival company offered to double your salary, 99% of you would jump ship right away. So it’s okay for you to do that but not for a footballer?
