This video has been making the rounds. While it’s notable primarily for Didier Drogba’s assist on a goal for his new club Shanghai Shenhua, it indirectly reveals that the Chinese Super League may not be the denizen of mediocrity we all just blithely assume it must be. A stunning free kick with a stellar save, a lovely through ball and a round-the-keeper, and a lovely own-goal to boot. Hell, I’d watch it.
