No word on the severity, length, whatever. But in general hamstring injuries involve several weeks recovery at the minimum, although judging by some reactions on Twitter, the layout of a player who picked daisies in Northern France with Lille all last season is a crushing blow to the Brendan Rodgers Project.
WHICH IS RIDICULOUS. In 20 appearances, Cole didn’t really light Lille on fire last season. Four goals and three assists. A giant meh in key passes per game. It’ll be okay.
At least it givers Raheem a run of games!! That youngster looks to have a bright future ahead!
