When it involves Luka Modric, and when it’s reported by the Daily Mail. Does this make any sense to you whatsoever?
So to get Luka Modric, Real Madrid must pay Tottenham £35 million, except Real is only going to pay £25 million, but the deal is “done” with Spurs getting less than what they wanted (headline maybe not up-to-date?), except Modric won’t go anywhere until Tottenham buy a similar player, which means, presumably, if they don’t get one in time for the August 31st transfer window, the deal won’t be ‘done’ after all.
IS THIS THE KIND OF THING YOU REALLY WANT ME TO BE REPORTING ON?
