The handshake is bigger than the game. Apparently this a fact, not speculation. With this being the case let us delve into to world of handshake analysis. I apologize in advance.
BREAKING: Anton Ferdinand does not shake hands with John Terry or Ashley Cole. Then again, nobody knows where those hands have been.

They didn’t shake hands. This endeavor was pointless. I can’t blame Anton for forgoing the handshake, but i wish this minor incident was given the JFK Zapruder treatment – only then could we analyze what really went down.

Anton should have been the adult in all of this and just shook the two hands. you’re a millionaire who plays a kids game for a living. set an example for the young lads who watch and look up to you. You could have showed the world what you are made of…..wait a second, i guess you kind of did.
He has every right to refuse. If one believes him/her was wronged and not have the wrong remedied, I have no issue with the person making a statement about that.
It’s a tough one, but I really think he could have shook AC’s hand.
Why AC and not JT? I think it is justified that he doesn’t want to shake his hand. The issue at hand is racism; not honor or posturing or some ones wife. I don’t expect anything “classy” from any of the Ferdinand brothers (they seem like goofs), but I don’t think he should have to shake the hand of someone who he believes did such an act.
