I dunno, guys. John Terry’s “you can’t fire me, I quit!” attitude seems very much in line with the self-promoting narcissist. This looks like a case of him getting out in front of the news and trying to direct it on his terms. He’s tried to lessen the blow of his abhorrent behaviour by feigning(?) indignation over being called to task. There’s no apology, just an “F U, I’m off!” preemptive statement.
All of those things are pretty much what comes to mind when someone talks about John Terry.
