Number 225. With this goal against Genoa, Francesco Totti joins Gunnar Nordahl as the second all time goal scorer in the history of Serie A. Totti has broken double figures 13 times in 20 seasons, a testament to his consistency. The play that set up the penalty was dubious but that’s how it goes sometimes. Take a bow Francesco.

Between Totti, Maldini, Zanetti, Del Piero(kinda) Serie A is probably the best league for producing one club men. I know we got gigs and Scholes but the way these guys are all giving it 100% at the twilight of their career is astonishing. With money becoming more important to people nowadays I feel like the likes of Messi Xavi and Inesita will be the last one club men we see.
