I share Dustin’s sentiment with regard to Fenway. Zaun was on the Fan this afternoon trashing it too. Said it was a terrible place to play and that they should burn it down and build a new park.

Good discussion about the Reds being able to sign Votto & Phillips to long term contracts. Parkes made a good point about tying up 25% of your payroll in 2 playes. On the other hand, wiyth new tv contracts the team will have more money, so overall payroll will probably increase.
It will be interesting to see if the Jays can get away without spending money in the next offseason by arguing they have low tv revenue from Rogers broadcasting?
