Oh, Hendo.

Keep the damn ball in the yard. I know it’s a joke stadium, but… seriously.

I dunno… I got nothin’ but crossed fingers tonight.

Parkes puts on his tinfoil hat at Getting Blanked and does a fantastic job of breaking down the Sergio Santos situation, which there appears to be more to than the Jays are willing to admit– even if it most certainly doesn’t appear to be the case of a diabolical Kenny Williams trading away damaged goods.

Drew had some terrific analysis of the Jays shifty ways earlier, which was buried a little quicker than I’d hoped by additional content. Be sure not to miss it.

And in case you missed it, too, be sure to check out my series preview talk with Ted Berg of SNY.tv, which you’ll find at the bottom of today’s podcast post.

Lastly, for your between-inning viewing pleasure, here’s today’s edition of Getting Blanked…

  3. rosenthal is rumouring the A”s want yunel

  4. JP Arencibia is ready to take over for Jose it looks like.

  5. wow… that could have gone awfully.

  6. Boy, they really really tried to fuck up badly there…

  7. oh this might turn into a one run loss yet.

  8. Oh, so now the baseball gods are taking pity on us and throwing us some weak-ass lucky shit like that.

    Well, I’LL TAKE IT.

  9. jays will now score 3 to make it a 1 run loss

  10. lawrie can you hit a fucking home run for once

  11. that baserunning was fuckin hilarious 3 stooges style

  12. I hate that the 3-0 pitch is almost always called a strike…

And Lawire should not have had the green light 3-1 there…

  13. Lawrie’s shitty nothing but arms swings are getting tiresome

  15. Callling a Colby see ya bingo right now

  16. cmon cletus over the fence you go

  18. Wow Colby. Just watch it why don’t you.

  19. A hate those arrogant pricks!

  20. Dear fucking God, I hate the Yankees so much it hurts

  21. So another loss where the game was tied in the 8th and jansenn wasn’t brought in. Dumb fuck farrell

    • Wow I said yesterday someone would complain about Janssen not being used lol holy fuck watch many games at all?

      • Jansenn wasn’t used yesterday. You can’t keep saving him for save opportunities.

We will never win close games with farrell managing and frasor/coco being used in the 8th.

        • No but he was used for multiple innings in the 2nd of his back to back outings. He can’t pitch every fucking inning. Mediocre guys like Frasor and their inability to keep guys off the bases have done just as much to ruin this season as have the injuries. These guys have to step up when it’s time more often than they have been doing. When your WHIPS are closing in on 1.40 as a reliever orany pitcher for that matter there’s a problem.

          • give me a break 4 outs is not multiple innings. if jansenn pitched every other game he’d have 80 ip. His carreer high is 72ip so he’s not even close to topping that. Your job is to win games with whoever you got not keep babying everyone.

  22. Bautista day to day with tendon injury. No broken bone.

  23. Lawrie has been horrible this month. He scored 24 runs last month, this month 4 runs, 2 xbh, 1 walk. Got to take him out of the leadoff spot.

  24. Looks like Gose is comming up

  25. Marisnick has 4 hits tonight (though over two games – double header) including his first Double A HR. JAAAAAAAAAKKKKKKKKKKKE

  26. (John Sterling voice): A Jack . . . . . for JAAAAAAAKKKKKKKKKE

  27. Sorry, guys. My last grand slam allowed this year, I promise!

At least Cecil isnt a righty…. softball field fence in right field and a line up full of power lefties and a right handed Cecil on the mound would make for a legendary ass pounding that would be lamented in song for generations.
