  1. First graph in a while that doesnt dip below the half line! Winning streak forthcoming!

  2. “Least Relevant: Adam Lind, -0.7%, 0.45″

Are you sure this isn’t the year-end post?

  3. I want Carlos as our #4 next year….No more of the spot starting / long relief gig… He’s earned it.. Please AA – sign him for 3-4 years!!!

  4. Last night performance was incredible but let’s not forget two things. Couple of hanging breaking balls that he got away with it and a very liberal strike zone.
Don’t get me wrong I like the guy. All I’m saying is that there might be some nights that all those strike outs become BBs. And if that happens, doesn’t mean that he is a shitty pitcher. Just temper your expectation folks.

    • you mean our number four/five starter isn’t going to throw shutouts everytime?

    • I thought I heard Carlos or Mathis mention how they may have discovered that hanging a top of the zone slider was actually quite effective and they might occasionally use it as a weapon. I’m not sure if last nights were by design but the way Carlos is you have to wonder.

  5. I’d still rather have Carlos as the swingman, and #6 starter.

  6. That is the perfect facial expression for “I’m going to get hit in the ass with a baseball really soon”

  7. I’m surprised by this graph, I always thought with the way Maddon carries himself like he invented the game you started with a zero percent chance of winning. Learn something new every day.

  8. maddon is a fukstick.
I could live with Carlos as our no 5 guy. He’s certainly better than fukstick Drabek who should be in AA learning how to get COMMAND of his fuckin pitches and not walk 5 guys in half a game so the bullpen has to come in all the time.
Alvarez has become a nice batting practice pitcher now that the whole league knows he has just one pitch-send him off in a package somewhere and go with CV and HApp

  9. You need to find a way to set that GIF to the Chariots of Fire music.
