Buffalo’s WKBW– which I can only presume is still run by Irv Weinstein– reports that the Jays are the new parent club of the Buffalo Bisons… um… aka “the Herd”.
Huzzah!
The 51s also changed their Facebook banner to welcome the Mets.
I assume their mascot is Raul Julia’s portrayal of M. Bison from the Street Fighter movie, complete with voice clips?
God I hope so.
As a Blue Jays fan from former farm club Syracuse, I say congratulations to Buffalo, the Bisons, and the good people of Southern Ontario! You got a good team there Buffalo and no doubt will work well with Toronto.

$40 gets you pretty good seats. Great means behind the dugout and that’s well over $100.
Well, there are maybe 1,000+ fans who are hardcore enough to make the trip more than once per season. And it’s those kinds of fans posting on DJF. We aren’t exactly representative of the full fan base in these comments.
