And now a little something to kill time on a Wednesday afternoon: it’s the latest episode of the DJF podcast!

And this week we had Chief– aka ex-Jays clubbie, Darren Kritzer of @extrabasehit– filling in for the hopelessly disinterested Wally Pip, helping Drew and I dip our toes in the soon-to-be-tepid well of Spring Training storylines to follow!

If you’re more inclined to download today’s podcast, hit up the mp3 link.

The DJF iTunes page remains up and running, so get on over there and subscribe– or update the subscription you already have to find the latest episode (once it’s up). You can also find it via our podcast RSS feed. Follow DJF on Facebook, too, while you’re at it.

We’ll be be back again next damn week, and we still want to hear from you! Call us (hammered) at 1-855-FOUL-TIP, or email us (hammered) at with whatever is sticking in your craw, and we’ll dissect the best the Monkey Army has to offer!

  1. Get the zubes back

  2. Does anyone remember Jason Smith? Wasn’t he a utility guy that had a huge spring for the Jays (and then promptly fell off the map) a few years back?

  3. I believe the Jays will get 95 wins and Dickie will win the Cy Young with Bautista is MVP and a World Series!!!!!!

  4. Thank you

  5. Jake Fox hit .333 with 7 knocks in spring 2011. He lasted in the bigs till June. Hasn’t played in the majors since.

  7. Interesting that up until the 1971-2000 normals, February was alywas colder on average than December. December overtook Feb in the 1971-2000 period, and now the 1981-2010 normals have them the same, with both trending higher. Kind of shows that cold weather is starting later, and ending sooner, so winters appear to be getting shorter, on average.
