Now a little something to kill time on a Thursday afternoon: it’s the DJF podcast!

And today we’ve got Chief– aka @extrabasehit– filling in for the hopelessly disinterested Wally Pip, as we talk about what we’ve seen so far from the Jays, as their season of dreams has started with a pair of mild disappointments.

If you’re more inclined to download today’s podcast, hit up the mp3 link.

The DJF iTunes page remains up and running, so get on over there and subscribe– or update the subscription you already have to find the latest episode (once it’s up). You can also find it via our podcast RSS feed. FollowDJF on Facebook, too, while you’re at it.

We’ll be be back again next damn week, and we still want to hear from you! Call us (hammered) at 1-855-FOUL-TIP, or email us (hammered) at GettingBlanked@theScore.com with whatever is sticking in your craw, and we’ll dissect the best the Monkey Army has to offer!

Mintmusical interludes courtesy Toronto’s own Optical Sounds. Be sure to check them out and buy every single fucking thing you hear at their site.

  1. Just thought I’d mention, watching the Sportsnet feed on MLB.TV, the superimposed ads don’t show up. Had a buddy texting me last night about the batter’s eye ad and I thought he was crazy.

    • Though it does make sense now why they keep using that god awful camera angle behind home plate.

      • Seriously what the fuck with that shitty behind-the-plate camera angle? Hey, I got an idea: let’s broadcast the whole game using helmet cams

  2. Yo! Thanks Drew for giving me permission to boo Farrell

    Means a lot

  3. What kind of antics will the ticket holders in the 500′s get up to tanight

  4. Caught Jack Morris doing the game last night and in studio with Blair today.

Gotta say, he’s not nearly as bad as I worried he’d be. I actually think he’s been totally fine.

  5. Doesn’t sound like the Monkey Army submitted anything worth dissecting.

  6. Gose off and running with Buffalo:

double on an 0-2 pitch in 1st inning, finished 3 for 4:

other affiliates start up tonight too (like now for Dunedin and NH). In Lansing, Avedano starts with Norris getting the 2nd half of the piggyback
