Podcast The Fifty-Fifth!

Now a little something to kill time on a Thursday afternoon: it’s the DJF podcast!

And today we’ve got Scott Lewis– aka Scott Lewis, aka @thescottlewis– filling in for the hopelessly disinterested Wally Pip, as we talk about the San Francisco Giants being terrible, J.P. Arencibia and Colby Rasmus, Melky Cabrera, and #GibbyTheBest.

If you’re more inclined to download today’s podcast, hit up the mp3 link.

The DJF iTunes page remains up and running, so get on over there and subscribe– or update the subscription you already have to find the latest episode (once it’s up). You can also find it via our podcast RSS feed. Follow DJF on Facebook, too, while you’re at it.

We’ll be be back again next damn week, and we still want to hear from you! Call us (hammered) at 1-855-FOUL-TIP, or email us (hammered) at GettingBlanked@theScore.com with whatever is sticking in your craw, and we’ll dissect the best the Monkey Army has to offer!

Mintmusical interludes courtesy Toronto’s own Optical Sounds. Be sure to check them out and buy every single fucking thing you hear at their site.

  6. There is a picture on Greg Zaun’s twitter from his charity golf tournament that needs to somehow be incorporated into a post.

  7. Please keep doing these. I enjoy drinking coffee, NOT working, and listening to these.

  8. Hey Scott Lewis ! Your twitter background shows a pic of a Cubs pitcher losing his arm. Did you know that actually happened in an Expos game?

  9. Been busy at work so having trouble keeping track of all the injuries right now.

What is our rotation right now?

Is that right? Or is Morrow gone as well?

    • Morrow is literally day-to-day with back spasms, but should pitch in NY.

Ortiz gets one more chance to get demoted.

Jenkins gets to hang around for a bit too. If he wasn’t pitching well enough I would lobby for Cecil to get a spot start, although my word doesnt carry much weight amongst the Jays coaching staff…

Good news on Dustin McGowan, blowing them away down in Dunedin:

“So far it’s been awesome,” … “I pitched yesterday and today, no soreness whatsoever.” – DM

  10. My only issue with this podcast is how the Giants kept on getting ripped on for having a winning record in a bad division. What the fuck are they supposed to do? Relocate the team so their record can go to .500 or something?

  11. needs more doomriders
