Toronto Blue Jays v San Francisco Giants

Now a little something to kill time on a Thursday afternoon: it’s the DJF podcast!

And today we’ve got just Drew and I, with no one filling in for the hopelessly disinterested Wally Pip, as we talk about the R.A. Dickey’s health, Melky Cabrera’s jeopardy, and the upcoming Rule 4 Draft!

If you’re more inclined to download today’s podcast, hit up the mp3 link.

The DJF iTunes page remains up and running, so get on over there and subscribe– or update the subscription you already have to find the latest episode (once it’s up). You can also find it via our podcast RSS feed. Follow DJF on Facebook, too, while you’re at it.

Oh, and we still want to hear from you! Call us (hammered) at 1-855-FOUL-TIP, or email us (hammered) at GettingBlanked@theScore.com with whatever is sticking in your craw, and we’ll dissect the best the Monkey Army has to offer!

Mintmusical interludes courtesy Toronto’s own Optical Sounds. Be sure to check them out and buy every single fucking thing you hear at their site.

  1. What’s going on with Dickey’s health???

  2. Will thee eve a draft thread today stoeten?

  3. Fucking heros.

  4. I have been following the site since about 2008 and I cannot for the life of me figure out who or what is Wally Pip? Is there a definitions section on this site?

    • Wally Pipp “the man who lost his starting role to Lou Gehrig at the beginning of Gehrig’s streak of 2,130 consecutive games” I believe they refer to Parkes as the Wally Pipp of the DJF podcasts.

  5. Resign JJ to a fair deal and then put him through the weighted ball program

  6. “I liked his hair” – Drew Fairservice, referring to heartthrob of the minute Mark Derosa.

What is this, Canada’s NEXT TOP FUCKIN’ MODEL???

  7. Mike Wilner thinks JJ is getting, “a tear less than Justin Verlander and Felix Hernandez.” Dirk Hayhurst started to laugh on baseballl central after he said that.
