Now a little something to kill time on a Monday afternoon: it’s the DJF podcast!

And today we’ve got just Drew and I, with no one filling in for the hopelessly disinterested Wally Pip, as we talk about the Casey Janssen thing, starting pitching, Munenori Kawasaki, Brett Lawrie and more!

If you’re more inclined to download today’s podcast, hit up the mp3 link.

The DJF iTunes page remains up and running, so get on over there and subscribe– or update the subscription you already have to find the latest episode (once it’s up). You can also find it via our podcast RSS feed. Follow DJF on Facebook, too, while you’re at it.

Oh, and we still want to hear from you! Call us (hammered) at 1-855-FOUL-TIP, or email us (hammered) at with whatever is sticking in your craw, and we’ll dissect the best the Monkey Army has to offer!

Mintmusical interludes courtesy Toronto’s own Optical Sounds. Be sure to check them out and buy every single fucking thing you hear at their site.

  1. Last time I checked, this Monday, not Thursday. FYI.

  2. I enjoy these, though I do miss the third voice in the booth, whether it’s Zuber, Chief, Lewis, or the hopelessly disinterested Wally Pipp. Adds a little variety to the proceedings.

  3. MP3 link is for today’s Getting Blanked.

  4. Just a heads up, the stream link seems to be the GB podcast.

  5. Yes, yes, fixing it, fixing it. Thanks all.

  6. FYI – me thinks you posted the wrong link

  7. FYI the link is for the getting blanked podcast.

  8. Hey did you guys notice that the link was wrong previously but now seems to be working?

  9. Did I hear something about the wrong podcast link?

  10. Ponyboy.
    Sorry, I mean Stoeten.
    Waiting for:
Game Threat: Rockies vs. Blue Jays.
I’m in Israel, 7 hours later than you.
    Come on, let it rip.
I have to go to sleep soon.

  11. Lott just tweeted: Gibbons says he’s considered keeping Bautista and EE 2-3 behind Reyes when Reyes returns, with Cabrera moving down in lineup. Likes Lind 4th

    man… #GibbytheBest.

  12. If it came down to keeping kawasaki or bonicrapio, I wouldnt think twice. Kawasaki is a better hitter and fielder. The only advantage boni has is speed and the ability to play multiple positions poorly. But id be fine with kawasaki playing 2nd and hitting 9th against righties when reyes returns.
