botanist

Now a little something to kill time on a Wednesday afternoon: it’s the DJF podcast!

And today we’ve got just Drew and I, with no one filling in for the hopelessly disinterested Wally Pippp, as we talk about Todd Redmond, Trevor Cahill, the Webster Awards, Botanist, a little rosterbation, and more!

If you’re more inclined to download today’s podcast, hit up the mp3 link.

The DJF iTunes page remains up and running, so get on over there and subscribe– or update the subscription you already have to find the latest episode (once it’s up). You can also find it via our podcast RSS feed. Follow DJF on Facebook, too, while you’re at it.

Oh, and we still want to hear from you! (No, really!) Call us (hammered) at 1-855-FOUL-TIP, or email us (hammered) at GettingBlanked@theScore.com with whatever is sticking in your craw, and we’ll dissect the best the Monkey Army has to offer!

Many mintmusical interludes courtesy Toronto’s own Optical Sounds. Be sure to check them out and buy every single fucking thing you hear at their site. Image via NPR.org.

  1. Good

  2. So what’s this about Dickey apologizing to the fans? Saw it on CP24 while getting food but couldn’t hang around for the response.

  3. Good. Parting(?) shots.

    32 starts 180 innings

  4. Do we have to listen to this podcast to kill time on a Tuesday afternoon cause I wanna listen to it now

  5. Zubes for permanent Wally Pipp fill-in!

  6. I think this episode shows that the awful season has hastened both of your descents into madness. I’m down, keep more like this coming.

    • I think if this season was 200 games long, pretty sure by the end we’d pretty much be Brando and Dennis Hopper in Apocalypse Now.

In other words, we’re getting out at the right time. Not that I wouldn’t totally be into listening to that podcast.

What are they gonna say about him? What are they gonna say? That he was a kind man? That he was a wise man? That he had plans, man? That he had wisdom? Bullshit, man!

  7. Nice musical interludes.

  8. The Botanist just became my soundtrack for the Blue Jays’ longer-than-expected off-season.

  9. [...] Black metal and the Blue Jays. Sort of. Mostly Blue Jays [DJF podcast] [...]
