New Blog

                                              eu_bg

Hi there.

As you can see, we’ve changed the look of the blog. And as you can’t see, we’ve also switched our blog software. It would take too long and, frankly, be too boring if I listed all of the reasons why our new software is better than the old. So just think of it this way:

Old blog software = The Millennium Falcon at the start of The Empire Strikes Back.

New blog software = The Millennium Falcon when it was making the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs.

So we’ve upgraded there.

We’re expecting are few minor hiccups as we make the transition, but the constant lags, bugs and screw-ups that happened on the old hunk of junk should be a thing of the past. If something on the blog isn’t working, or if you’ve got some feedback on the design, let us know in the comments section.

From now on, we’ll be located at this url, so adjust your bookmarks and RSS readers accordingly.

Thanks.

Oh and by the way, I’m in the office tomorrow, so expect a rare Friday Morning Links post.

  1. I like the look. Looks professional. I also like the avatars for the authors!

  2. Nice new home :o)

Do you think FIFA – or soccer fans for that matter – should be worried that a South African company is selling World Cup themed “Stabproof Vests”?

  3. ahhhh no pictures

  4. Noooo, the old logo was so much better…and thats coming from someone in graphic design.

    Blahhhh

  5. Nice colour scheme! Not sure about the whole grass-based logo but it’ll grow on me, I’m sure.

  6. The logo is just a stop-gap until the new footy show logo is ready.

  7. Your avatars and myscore accounts aren’t coming over either. Not sure if they’re going to make it over to the new site, once it launches.

  8. My first ever post, and I get this:

“You are posting comments too quickly. Slow down.”

  9. Yeah I’ve been getting that too.

Something must be up with the hyperdrive. I’ve logged the problem.
