I agree with Sharman, Muse is an amazing band
WTF….no show b/c of hoops previews!! That sucks! I am still pissed that the network pulled the Friday Footy show which was how I set up the weekend…pulled it for yet another wrestling show or something lame like that.
I really wish your bosses would get their heads out of their butts and stay loyal to football/soccer; your viewers are loyal to you and look to the score on Sundays, visit your site for football updates, listen to podcasts, etc, etc. It is lame that instead of building upon that relationship, your network seems to just take it for granted that they can dump football to the backburner and we will still tune in. Sad!!!
P.S. I will still tune in because I like the on air personalities and want to support their careers but it really pisses me off!
I’d like to know which Score programming pulls in the highest ratings! The Footy Show and it’s podcasts must be right up there! Have you guys ever thought about doing a regular “video” podcast? I enjoyed that ” video” podcast that you guys did a while back.
Ligue 1 is on par with the Bundesliga and I’d argue Serie A, as Serie A has taken a step back. La Liga and the BPL are the big 2.
Rooney would be better since Ronaldo scored alot from freekicks and penalties.
James, you forgot the “Sign him up” chant. Beckham knew exactly what he was doing with the scarf. With that green and gold stuff, it wouldn’t surprise me in the least if Utd’s kit for next year has a green and gold 3rd kit. The Glazers will spin it somehow in to a money maker. City have done it with Mancini and the retro scarf.
Meh. I agree, I couldn’t get into Muse. So much hype I thought it would be awesome :/.
Screw Muse. Loved the 24 Hour Party People reference right off the top. Great movie!
I grew up with Forest being a tough game and a solid “cup side”. Wouldn’t mind seeing them back up, but there is something to the “too soon” tag. It was only a little while ago that Ipswich went from Championship to Europe and right back down the shitter.
To further add to Beckham’s calculated moves… He claimed he didn’t have a clue about the movement, just that the scarf was original United colours. Definite BS moment, just keeping both sides of the bread buttered.
Will be interesting when TFC plays against RB-TFC. Apparently, the deal with Sutton is that he’ll play for RBNY – in return, TFC will only pay half his salary.
I have a sinking suspicion that we DON’T want The Score to pull rank based on ratings. Footy gets the most loyal fans, but I really doubt they get the greatest number of them.
Considering what gets shown, and when, Poker and rasslin’ kick ass. Effing Poker….

Real’s loss to Lyon is kind of funny. It shows that Lyon has constantly done the right fixes to ensure that they remain in the Champions League. Shocker? yes! But Lyon has always been a team that can take it to the top dogs in the Champions League. Hopefully they have that slim push to get up three points on the teams ahead of them to make it back to the top of the Ligue 1 table.
Further to what BR said, the pod was off to a great start with the Happy Mondays reference in the intro.
The Muse show on Monday night was brilliant — the light show (especially during New Born) and the video intros and other stuff was awesome. I wish they played a bit more of their old stuff, though; The Resistance is probably my least-favourite Muse record. Silversun Pickups were pretty solid but they came on so early that there wasn’t enough of a crowd assembled.
Despite my alma mater not making it again, March Madness is freaking brilliant. No criticism allowed.

I still think that the Serie A is ahead of the Ligue 1 and very slightly ahead of the Bundesliga. The common opinion is that the Serie A is weak. No one can argue that it isn’t the power it has been it is far from weak.
Most judge based on what they see in Europe and Milan and Juve are not what they have been known to be. Beyond that though there is so much talent spread thoughout the laegue. Look at Fiorentina and Palermo. The resurgence of Genoa, Napoli and Sampdoria. The stout defensive pairing of Ranocchia and Bonucci at newly promoted Bari. You can look through the entire table and find players that if they wore Juve, Milan or Inter shirts would be difference makers.
I really believe that at any given time the 10th place team in Serie A could beat the 10th place team in the EPL or La Liga. Unfortunately European places aren’t awarded for top to bottom strength and the big clubs in Italy are not what they should be right now.
