  1. That blows!!!!!! Now I have no excuse to ignore the job jar…….lol. James, hope your metatarsal is getting better. I have an issue for discussion on tomorrows live blog with JR.
What rule change would you like to see FIFA apply? For me, I would like to see the rule change that would see the ball remain in play until it hits the ground outside the field of play. This would really widen the pitch and bring out some real ball control skills. Think of the long crosses to the far post that are headed back across goal. If you could prevent the ball from touching the ground, while in touch, it would really increase the number of goal opportunities. It’s one rule basketball has right. Look forward to seeing what others think on tomorrow’s live blog. Oh…btw…..the offside rule is off limits……lol

  2. ^^ terrible idea, sorry.

  3. You gotta say why sportsfan?????

  4. The only rule change I’d like to see is the one FIFA obviously has………….only hire complete idiots! That’s directed at Blatter and his cronies. As far as the actual game rules, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it! Look at the new offside rule, it just adds confusion, there was nothing wrong with the old rule.

  5. This article talks about avoiding penalty shootouts for a final. Instead, when going to extra time, each team goes down to 10 men. In 2nd half of ET, go down to 9. I don’t watch hockey (bad Canadian!) but the article says that they use this method? Thoughts?

  6. Not good enough.

There simply is no point trumpeting yourselves as the EXCLUSIVE home of the live Sunday game (normally 11am Eastern).

I will not be watching live online, nor can I video the game off that web feed to watch later.

If you wont show the game that you have the exclusive rights to then give those exclusive rights up for the games you can’t be bothered to show so that real fans can actually get to watch the game somewhere else – live or delayed.

    Totally lame.

  7. NCAA basketball trumps the most followed sport in the world – really !

What next – we postpone Premier League soccer in favour of international basket weaving?

The Score take note – NCAA basketball should be the one being tape delayed or screened via the web, not soccer. At least screen the game later on in tape delay instead of the usual score update rubbish which recycles most of the day.

Very poor decision. BTW, James, Kristian keep up the good work. Because of your dedication, I will try and make an effort to watch the web broadcast, but do so under duress !!!

Please get this sorted out so this doesn’t happen again ;)

  8. WTF??? You must be joking! I am very upset that the Fooy Show will not be airing this morning. The Footy Show is the best part of my Sunday’s. I will protest by not watching the score for 24 hours. (I love the Score so this is a big deal, trust me!)

  9. No game on Sunday = DISASTER! As a fan of the beautiful game for 60 years and counting I need my regular fix of Saturday & Sunday games. Serie “A” is a poor substitute but it will have to do, is la kissing your sister.
Oh the shame of it all, and for basketball? Straight Red Card to the geniuses in the programming dept.

  10. Went to look for a game/footy show fix on sunday and…..the listing is devoid of anything interesting. Run an earlier game if you want to start showing crap university basketball…march madness indeed. totally craptastic choice

  11. Not sure how your TV rights work but can you guys show an extra game off of tape delay later on Sunday’s?

I know if you want to find the score it’s easy to do so, but at the same time if you know a game is going to be shown off tape it’s easy to avoid finding out.
