TFC finally looks like it is turning the corner now that there finally is a coach in place who knows how to win games in MLS and there has been a massive clearout of last year’s underachieving roster. There are two big games coming over the horizon in the next few days but instead of being able to look forward to better times ahead we have this whining self-indulgent interview inflicted on us.
Thanks for the interview KJ. Any thoughts of putting exclusive interviews like this and Gerba’s in podcast form? Usually on the go and don’t have the time to watch a 30 minute interview but would definately have time to listen to one.

Blizzard – While I agree with you that coming off of a win and the week ahead this interview may not have come at the best time. However as someone who went to every home game last year, 2 away games and watched every other game on TV I would like to know why they couldn’t make the playoffs with the squad they had.

At this point I couldn’t care less about what happened last season, Serie_AHH. It’s ancient history. The ridiculously underqualified Chris Cummins (who was probably only appointed because he had an even less impressive pro career than John Carver’s) is now back in England and we now have a highly qualified coach in place with a track record of getting the job done in an MLS context. Saturday’s performance demonstrated for all to see that the roster that has been put together for this season (primarily by Preki judging by the players that have been added so the dynamic is very different from last season) has the potential to win the NCC again and finally make the playoffs. Time for supporters of the team to put an end to all this negativity and do just that, support the team in the here and now.
Awesome.. Keep it up! We need change in management for the team. If we keep sending people away the way we have up until now. The future will be bleak if change does not occur soon. Mo will move on and no one will want to sign in Toronto because of the perception he has left our city with.

Speaks volumes how these former TFC players/coaches have handled the scrutiny. Not one has come out and directly carved Moe a new ****ole, they have dealt with the situation with a greater amount of class than the FO has.

I find it funny that Ansemli finds it necessary to defend Mo in the media. Guy can’t event talk for himself and we have some faceless suit doing his dirtywork who know SFA about soccer.
The tow words that keep coming up: “petty” and “childish”. Pretty much sum up all the Mo rumours, long before he arrived on these shores.

Strange that Anselmi would lash out at Gerba when Gerba’s criticisms were specifically restricted to Mo & Preki and the way his departure was handleed and he was full of praise for the club – and when even Mo has admitted that they did not handle Gerba’s departure all that well. The wagons are circling…….
Very interesting interview with Cummins nonetheless – if nothing else for the thought that Nick Dasovic can add the title of “Champagne Smuggler” to his resume. :)

I would like to support a club that, with a quality coach and quality players, can be serious contenders. I would like to support a club that treats its players, coaches and fans with respect at all times.
TFC will not be that club with the revolving door of players and sub-standard coaches. Mo is not up to it.
I will buy a white kit when TFC is a club I can support wholeheartedly again.

Tossin’ Mo under the bus…Mo Must Go, no? Division between yanks and canucks? crazy really. In any other sport he would be black balled as a coach speaking out like that publicly. See Ted Nolan NHL after he tossed the Sabres under the bus.
