  1. Wow. Im gonna go pick this book up but with only this interview, my belief has been firmly shaken over whether the world cup will have fixing going on. I always believed Platini was corrupt as too many of his proposals and quotes are just unbelievable to me.

  2. One of the few people in the world I’d pay good money to have a beer with is Declan Hill. I’m sure there’s way juicier stuff that he’d say off the record.

  3. Declan Hill is always a “must listen” interview. Hot topic that’s only getting hotter.

If you haven’t already read the book, DO IT!

  4. SOME DAP FOR SHARMAN and TFS boys:

I remember suggesting this interview to TFS boys about 18 months ago on the live Sunday AM chat and they said they were trying – but the bosses didn’t see the the newsworthiness of it. Better late than never!

  5. I believe Declan Hill does talk out of his behind sometimes. I have read his book and the vagueness bothered me at first, but then I realised he really knows f-all about match-fixing, particularly where the real money is at, in European football. I would love to spend my time pretending I am expert on things some of which I read about on forums and heard about in coffeee shops. Just to be clear, I am not a fan ;).
