MLB 2K13 is back for another year, even though the future of the franchise looked bleak after 2K12. Yesterday, they announced the return of their Perfect Game Challenge, a contest where you used to be able to pitch a perfect game and be eligible to win a million dollars. Things have changed this year: they’re still giving out a million bucks, but it will be split up between 30 teams.
“This year, the $1,000,000 will be split between more gamers, with the 30 most perfect game winners each hauling in $25,000. That means a winner on every team,” says 2K Sports. “Then it’s on. The final showdown in New York during All-Star Week. The top four qualifiers wage an epic battle for perfect – and the grand prize of $250,000.”
