It seems strange that for an event that’s so deeply scrutinized by the baseball media, there’s an entire aspect of the Winter Meetings that receives little in the way of attention from the hundreds of media members who travel to whatever sunny destination is playing host.
But the Baseball Trade Show is a big part of the annual tradition as over 300 vendors attempt to talk the movers and shakers of professional baseball into buying their marketing apparel, caps, blankets, souvenirs, promotional products, to service companies including insurance, architecture, concessions, printing, marketing, analysis and entertainment.
Ben Hill of MiLB.com spoke with one such vendor who offers a very unique form of seventh inning entertainment:
