I’m not necessarily one to really get into all of the pomp and circumstance that sometimes gets celebrated in baseball. I love the sport more than most things, but flowery descriptives voiced by Ken Burns documentary narrators just isn’t my thing.
Having said that, this vividly shot montage of Opening Day events from Target Field delivers me closer to goose bumps than almost anything I can remember. And while this video may be focusing on the Minnesota Twins’ home opener, it manages to go beyond just the one team in its appeal. This is really how baseball fans everywhere play back the moments from Opening Day in their head.
Massive kudos to Capture Studios for the excellent work.
