It’s time once again for us to take our faces for radio and voices for print to the audio airwaves for the latest edition of The Getting Blanked Podcast.

This week we were joined by author Craig Robinson (@flipflopflying), whose awesome Flip Flop Flyball: An Infographic Baseball Adventure is in bookstores now! Craig joined us for a talk on the All-Star festivities and shared stories about his introduction to baseball and the inspiration for his new book. Also, he looks like this.

Bon apetit . . . for your ears:

You can also download the podcast right here.

Or you can subscribe to The Getting Blanked Podcast on iTunes, to have the podcast, live stream MP3s and other life changing materials delivered straight to your computer each week.

As always, Mint Musical Interludes courtesy of The Constantines and Arts & Crafts Records. You can celebrate homonyms and buy everything you hear here.

And don’t forget to follow Getting Blanked on Facebook, to find our “Extra Innings” video segment, in which we basically discuss a subject that we didn’t have time for during the podcast proper or rant on endlessly about something that only amuses us. This week: well, we haven’t exactly filmed it yet, but it’s probably safe to say that it will blow your mind.

Special thanks to our Facebook fan Dawson Bergmann for this week’s image.

  1. Drew, please! No one who supports salary caps is a hard core (or any other kind of) free marketer — by definition! Even though, need I point out, there is a world of difference between the state (with it’s monopoly on violence) imposing salary or wage controls and a private entity doing so regarding it’s own employees. In fact of the matter, on an actually free market, free of state coercion, such caps are impossible. But this would require understanding how markets actually work. Maybe best to stick to baseball there, fella.
