Holy crap what a baseball game! With the tantalizing Game Seven on the horizon, we break down the unforgettable Game Six and look ahead to tonight with all the requisite fun sponging and hatorading with a nice drizzle of godless ranting.

We’re fortunate enough to be joined by David Schoenfield of ESPN’s Sweetspot blog for an on-the-ground report from the World Series and a brief discussion on the health of baseball.

  1. look – i have a question for the next podcast and didn’t know where to post it, so i’m posting it here. thinking about next year’s Jays rotation, thinking about available starters. thinking there’s no real interest in Sabathia ($) and CJ Wilson (1A at best, no3 more realistically), so . . . what about Carlos Zambrano? all indications are the Cubs want shot of him – would we, assuming we only take a fraction of his $, want him here? could we handle him here (for more than two months)?

also, what do you think of James Shields? too risky considering he only shows up for the last year before free agency?

if you could reroute these questions to the appropriate talking heads, i would appreciate it.

    thanks,
    Jay
