It finally came to a head. With Dustien Pox safely absconded in the Greater Ottawa Valley, Stoeten and I let lose with a torrent of troll bashing, the likes of which you’ve never heard before on these gentle airways.

Not really, we just sort of argue about the Jays vis-à-vis the 2008 Rays.

And we’re lucky enough to have Patrick Reddington of Federal Baseball to talk about the terrible Wilson Ramos news and, on a more positive note, the bright baseball future in in the Beltway.

  1. On Parkes Arencibia/Martin comp:

Jp Arencibia’s oWAR was 1.6 according to baseball reference..

    Russell Martin’s oWAR was 1.4

their WAR’s are RM 1.3 and JPA 0.9

Not to mention JPA is a 25 year old rookie…

Not exactly the picture he painted.

  2. J.P. Arencibia OPS .720

    Russel Martin OPS .733

J.P. Rookie…..I can live with his Offense, but he needs to have Defense had the worst defense of a catcher of anyone in MLB…….FAN GRAPHS
