Via the magic of the Internet (with a healthy hat tip to SoFlaMarlins by way of Fishstripes) comes the most damning/convincing evidence of the Miami Marlins kit.

Here we see two actual, non-Mike Stanton Marlins Emilio Bonifacio and Omar Infante modelling the new gear in what I can only assume is the new clubhouse. Again, I can’t say they offend me too terribly because they’re just baseball jerseys.

If anything, this is a strong signal the new ballpark will be ready on time. You couldn’t possibly wear this orange kit in the old Marlins home, somebody could get killed.

  1. It’s not so much the orange that looks bad, it’s the other colours around the letters. It looks haphazard like a child picked them.

  2. Cocaine’s a helluva drug.

  3. …. i kinda like it

  4. the colours are fine – the logo is as if someone thought: that Expos logo was neat. and missed the fact that it was letters mashed into a capital “M”

  5. The orange is awesome…the logo, script and models, not so much.

  6. I’m probably in the extreme minority here, but I really like everything about these jerseys, even the symbol.
