It is all about perspective. Being able to gleefully discuss the Heath Bell signing secure in the knowledge that it wasn’t your team that just signed him to a three year deal. Our guest, Mr. Michael Jong of Fish Stripes does not have that pleasure. He must contend with his previously frugal team shelling out big bucks to Heath Bell. He watches Mike Stanton every day (possibly forever) so joke’s on us!

Meanwhile, we idiots three try and get inside the heads of GMs who value closers above all else. It took a lot of cognitive dissonance, though not as much as it took Parkes to almost say Frank Francisco is as good as Ryan Madson.
