The Getting Blanked podcast returns with more of the same (nothing) from Spring Training. Talking about changes to the playoff system, getting in on the Blame Carl Crawford ground floor and calling Michael Pineda fat.

Plus, we’re joined by a special guest to talk about the Atlanta Braves. For some reason, I think it is fun to keep it a “secret” for no apparent reason. He knows more about the Braves than I know about anything so this is a great segment.

  1. I’m excited for the DJF podcast return!

  2. SUCH BAD WORDS! OH MY STARS AND GARTERS.

Also, if you don’t think Stoeten “controls” the DJF comments, you’re naive.

    • I know people control both TheScore comment section and Stoeten controls the DJF comment section, though Stoeten has never removed a comment before at DJF.

I just saw all the people freaking out over at DJF freaking out, but thought I never had a problem with comments being removed here. So I wanted to see if comments do get removed on this site, or if those who “control” them don’t care. So far, so good.

  3. Did I hear right when Drew said Parkes went to California to watch spring training?

  4. It sounds like Drew could have been caught for an extreme DUI driving home from Florida.

  5. This braves fan on the podcast, I wanna have a long fucking conversation with him about baseball. Very knowledgeable guy from what I’ve heard off this :)

  6. I can’t over how strange it is to hear someone with a British accent speak about baseball. Nothing wrong it—I love it!
