This photo, recently tweeted by Marlins third baseman Hanley Ramirez, features two guys making a combined $25 million bucks this year showing their solidarity with the team’s recent branding decisions. When making statements, make them as loudly as possible. Orange is the new pink, don’t you know?

Jose Reyes went from Predator to Harry Dunn in one off-season. Not a good look, Jose. And Hanley…well…at least he participates in team activities, right?

  2. hanley is a monster! thats not the body type of a shortstop, regardless of whether he wants it to be or not

  3. Did you read the ESPN article about Hanley where he credits Jose Bautista with working him back into good shape.

“Ramirez went home to the Dominican Republic, after the worst year of his career, and sought out a man he says has been “a big inspiration to me,” Toronto’s Jose Bautista, and let Bautista push him to places he’d never been before.

“I never worked that much,” Ramirez said. “But I knew that I needed it because I didn’t play the whole season. ”
