Jacoby Ellsbury provides the LOLs on this deep fly from Jhonny Peralta early in Sunday’s game between the Boston Red Sox and Detroit Tigers. The ball escapes his glove as Ellsbury goes tumbling into the wall at Comerica Park, all the while three runs cross the plate in the first inning. Peralta was awarded with a double, capping a four-run first for the Tigers.

Great job Scott. Can you get something together of Brett Lawrie leaving Encarnacion hanging waiting for a high five return after the go-ahead runs from the Blue Jays in the 12th vs Cleveland yesterday. Encarnacion’s amused look in the dugout like a minute later when they meet again is a fitting cap to that sequence.
I’m in transit right now, but I can take a look for the footage later.
I think I may have the raw material for you here, with the high five fail at 0:16 mark and the bemused look from Encarnacion in the dugout at 0:36. Maybe its just me, but I love it.
