The Rays, who currently sit tied for first in the American League East, may have Evan Longoria back in the lineup in the very near future.

Longoria, who has been on the 15-day disabled list since May 1st with a partially torn left hamstring, was originally scheduled to be out for four-to-eight weeks. The Rays have gone 17-16 without their three time All-Star in the lineup.
