The super batting cage with video overlay designed to better simulate the hitting experience really is something, innit? ProBatter claims several Major League teams among its client base and it is easy to see why – other than the static release point, this is as close as one can get to facing live pitching short of the real thing.

This system is much better than the batting cages I’m most familiar with: those that are twenty feet long and often found outside of bars in South Korea. Flying baseballs and copious amounts of the local firewater make for a good time at 2am, I assure you.
