Buffalo Sabres forward Patrick Kaleta, who participated in the Triple-A celebrity home run derby in Buffalo along with Rob Gronkowski, Thurman Thomas, Jim Kelly, Nick Bakay and Russ Brandon, didn’t win, but he did happen to hit one out of Coca-Cola Field.

That was one more than Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano hit during the MLB home derby in Kansas City. The American League captain was shut out after winning the competition last season.

For the record, Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski won the Triple-A celebrity derby with eight home runs in the final round.
