This we saw coming, what we didn’t see coming after a deal like this is the possibility of the Phillies turning around and trading Cliff Lee and Hunter Pence. One American League executive told Joel Sherman that both are pretty available.

The Texas Rangers are one of the teams pursuing Marlins pitcher Josh Johnson, according to Bob Nightengale. The two teams have talked about Johnson, according to a tweet by Jon Paul Morosi.
