#SFGiants acquire 2-time All-Star Hunter Pence from Philadelphia in exchange for Nate Schierholtz, Tommy Joseph and Seth Rosen— San Francisco Giants (@SFGiants) July 31, 2012
For anyone worried that the San Francisco Giants gave up too much to acquire Hunter Pence from the Philadelphia Phillies, the fact that the team’s official Twitter account misspelled the last name of one of the prospects included in the deal should tell you all you need to know about how much the organization valued him.
It’s not Seth Rosen. It’s Seth Rosin.

So this is official? Interesting. I feel bad for Giant’s fans who are going to have to watch Pence in right field. Should be quite an adventure at times.
When is the last time the Giants knew anything about a prospect who wasn’t a starting pitcher?
I don’t know. You should ask Buster Posey or Pablo Sandoval maybe.
In the words of Happy Gilmore…
Seth Rosen, Beth Rosin…who gives a shit?
