Bad news for Mets fans (I guess) as first baseman/left fielder-type-guy Lucas Duda suffered a freak injury, breaking his wrist while moving furniture yesterday. A big blow for the young player whose role is up in the air for 2013.
It does, however, allow for all manner of LOLMets humor, from Beltran Blaming (above by the master himself) and Seinfeld referencing, as seen below. Poor Lucas Duda, at least his pain brings collective joy to the chattering class.
Lucas broke his wrist moving, doo dah, doo dah.
