The New York Mets official Twitter account posted photos of blue home and road alternates for the 2013 season. The Mets will adopt a design similar the blue versions of their “Los Mets” jerseys that they have worn on occasion over the past two seasons.

Note the 2013 All-Star Game patch on Santana’s left shoulder. The road alternates feature the same blue base and orange piping, but opt for a silver “New York” wordmark across the chest.

It’s a nice look, much better than the black alternates they’ve worn in recent years.

Yeah, these are good. Always hated the black look.
I’m sure Jose Reyes would have enjoyed playing in those uniforms. Blue Jays blue will look much better though.
And the team will stink no matter what uniform they wear
