Oh, Todd Helton, no. The Rockies elder statesman was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence in Thornton, Colorado according to a release issued by the club themselves. Thornton is a suburb just north of Denver, near Helton’s offseason home in Brighton.
Weirdest part of this arrest isn’t that a baseball player was arrested for driving after drinking too much, it’s that he didn’t even wait for Spring Training to start before doing so. C’mon, Todd; wait until you get to Arizona before you carry on like this. You’re white, it’s totally cool there!
Something something conflating outrage from this incident with that facing Ryan Braun grumble grumble double standard apples orange and SCENE.

What if a player was arrested for a DUPED?
“C’mon, Todd; wait until you get to Arizona before you carry on like this. You’re white, it’s totally cool there! ”
love it
But i think that only works if your White, AND believe in God – the American one lol
looks like he won’t be making my hall of fame hahaha
I would keep people out of the Hall of Fame for DUIs before I would keep them out for PEDs. (Not that I would keep them out for either.) But what are the chances Miguel Cabrera doesn’t make the Hall of Fame at this point? 10%?
You are bang on
Oooooh so many RTs
I don’t recall much outrage at Gustavo Chacin or Cabrera. Don’t think it’s just whites. The DUI point is good, why ruin it by trying to add a race narrative?
This joke was Arizona specific and also a joke.
If I understand Arizona law correctly, being white is just plain better than not. Nothing to do with DUIs.
