An Eye on Baseball

A hook for a hand, J-shaped carbon fibre prosthetics for legs, a chainsaw for a hand, a Cubs logo for an eye. One Iraq war veteran is taking a humorous approach to going through the rest of his or her life down a peeper.

As @Smithsonian noted in this tweet, a war veteran chose the Chicago Cubs logo over a fake iris for a prosthetic eye. As Fanatico editor Dustin Parkes so inappropriately put it, more like pathetic eye. Nobody’s committed to their team quite like Cubs fans.
