Sanchez, who was signed to a minor-league deal in the off-season, looked to intentionally hit Craig after allowing back-to-back home runs to Matt Carpenter and Carlos Beltran to start the game. Both he and manager Clint Hurdle were ejected following the incident.
On the season, the left-hander has compiled a 12.71 ERA, 9.43 FIP and 5.40 xFIP in four starts in 2013.
