As the fighters from UFC on FX 1 take to the scales today, we will shift gears and look at the Pro Elite 3 event that goes down on Saturday night in Hawaii.

Before we begin with our Pro Elite coverage, Mauro will welcome former UFC lightweight title challenger Gray Maynard to the podcast.  While he hasn’t had a fight since October, Maynard has remained in the spotlight for a variety of reasons.  Ranallo and Maynard will discuss his current career, when we can expect to see him back inside the cage, his experience helping Jose Aldo prep his title fight at UFC 142 and where exactly Maynard is training now that he has left his former home of Xtreme Couture.

Next, Mauro will welcome the first American woman to medal in wrestling at the Olympic Games, Sara McMann will join the show.  McMann will be taking on veteran Hitomi Akano Saturday night.  McMann will discuss what led her to a career in mixed martial arts, what her ultimate goal in the sport is and she will also give her take on some other current female fighters such as Ronda Rousey, Cyborg Santos and Miesha Tate.

Finally, Ranallo will welcome the winner of season three of The Ultimate Fighter Kendall Grove to the show.  Grove will be in the main event of Pro Elite 3, taking on Japanese superstar Ikuhisa Minowa.  Grove will talk about fighting in his home state of Hawaii, how his training habits have changed since his release from the UFC and what the future holds for the 29-year-old.
